One Year!

Hey, hope everyone had a good week.

This week we honestly just tracted. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet with any of our more promising people either, so it was a really slow week.

On Thursday Elder Haynes and I went on exchanges because it was our year mark.  We had a pretty good time, and also each burned a shirt, as per tradition.  We thought it would be cool to light the shirt while it was on us, then take a picture, and then we would have plenty of time to take it off. Yeah, well that didn’t really happen and now I don’t have a lot of hair on my left arm either. 

Sorry for the short email, hopefully next week will be more eventful.

Hey y’all

It was a pretty fun week this week. 

On Tuesday we drove up to Knoxville for a new missionary follow up meeting. It was a pretty okay meeting I guess, a little long.  But then we got caught in some pretty bad traffic on the way home that added 2 hours to our drive, so that wasn’t super fun. 

Thanksgiving we went to play in the ward turkey bowl at the Ringgold High School football field, so it was pretty fun to play for a couple hours. I kinda wrecked my knee, but it was fun anyways. Then we got to go to a member’s house and have some good food and play games and stuff, so it was a good day. 

Well other than that it was another long week of tracting.  We haven’t been able to find very many interested people so we do a lot of tracting. It can be pretty interesting with the different types of areas we have.  It’s  a pretty broad variety and it keeps it fun.
